The Hegon cotton linen trousers have a relaxed, straight fit and they are printed in the Pulloposti pattern. The trousers have an elastic waistband at the back and side seam pockets. The fabric is printed in Helsinki.
This fabric is printed with natural indigo, a plant-based dye extracted from Finnish woad. The colour may fade a little during the first few washes and use.
Maija Isola drew inspiration for her work from her countless trips around the world. Pulloposti (message in a bottle) was originally part of a collection entitled Aurinko ja Meri (The Sun and the Sea), in which patterns were inspired by the island of Crete in the Mediterranean Sea. The designer was enchanted by the endlessly fascinating marine world.
